Caring for Your cashmere candle

To get the most from Cashmere Candle, a little mindful maintenance goes a long way. These simple steps will help extend the life of your candle while ensuring a clean, safe burn every time.

Burning Tips
Before each use, trim the wick to approximately 5mm—this keeps the flame steady and helps minimize smoke. Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface before extinguishing to avoid tunneling. To preserve the quality of the fragrance and prevent overheating, limit each burn session to a maximum of 4 hours.

Always place your Cashmere Candle on a flat, heat-safe surface, and never burn it all the way to the bottom. Stop use when about 5mm of wax remains to avoid heat damage or potential breakage. For best results, keep the wax surface clean and clear of wick trimmings, dust, or other debris.

Extinguishing the Right Way
For a smooth and safe finish, we recommend using a wick snuffer—available in our candle care collection. This helps prevent smoke, keeps the wick in place, and avoids splashing hot wax. After extinguishing, let your Cashmere Candle cool and reset for at least an hour before lighting it again.

Safety Reminders
When burning more than one candle, space them at least 10cm apart. Avoid placing your cashmere candle near open windows, fans, or anywhere with a draft. Never leave a burning candle unattended or within reach of pets or children, and always keep it away from flammable items like curtains, books, or soft furnishings.
